Sausage & Egg Kolaches

Super easy homemade kolaches!

So I wanted to do a twist on the “classic” potato salad. It obviously is a winner by itself but I think you might find yourself liking this one for your next side dish for a BBQ or get-together with family and/or friends.

Recipe Below:

Servings: 4

Time cook: 1 hour

Ingredients

  • 5 large eggs

  • 1 package of maple sausage

  • 1 package of butter croissant dough - Pillsbury or Annies

  • 1/4 cup of milk

  • 1 tablespoon of butter

  • Salt and pepper

  • 1 cup of Shredded Mexican cheese

  • Olive oil spray

Directions: Pre-Heat the oven to 375° F. Cook the sausage in a medium saute pan. In a bowl, while the sausage is cooking add your eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Whisk the eggs until the top starts to bubble.

In another saute pan, add the butter and melt then pour in the eggs on medium heat. When the eggs and sausage are almost done, bring out the dough and set it aside. Once the sausage and eggs are done mix and add the cheese. Put in the freezer for a few minutes to chill before you put on the dough.

Separate each croissant roll and fill about a tablespoon of the mixture in the middle and close the dough around it. Pull the seam part at the bottom of your baking sheet. Bake for about 15-18 minutes.
