BBQ Pork Tenderloin

Looking for an easy crockpot dish? And a recipe you can make so many other meals out of? Definitely, a keeper if you are trying to meal plan for the week and change up the meals with not the same ole same ole dish. Can try nachos, sandwiches, pasta dishes, even on a salad!

Tip: don’t’ forget to make the BBQ sauce don’t dump on all ingredients to pot and cook.

This BBQ pork tenderloin recipe feeds about 6 people.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 pork tenderloin

  • Dash of chicken broth

  • Olive oil

  • Onion, chopped

  • Salt & pepper

  • Cilantro to garnish

  • BBQ Sauce:

    • 12 oz honey

    • 3/4 cup reduced soy sauce 

    • 3/4 cup ketchup

    • 2 tablespoons of minced garlic 

    • 1 tablespoon white vinegar 

    • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard 

    • pinch of red pepper flake

    • pinch of thyme

    • pinch of oregano 

    • 1 lime 

    • pepper to taste

Directions: In a crockpot, season meat with salt, pepper, onion, and olive oil. Place in crockpot with dahs of broth. In a saucepan add all the ingredients for the BBQ sauce. In the saucepan bring to boil then let simmer for about 20 minutes or until it starts to thicken.

Once done, add the sauce to the crockpot and then cook on low for about 5-7 hours. Until meat is falling apart. Garnish with cilantro and serve with rice or whatever your heart desires.
